Mark Webber makes its six different winners from six events in Monaco and moves up from fifth in the standings to joint second, equal on points with team-mate Sebastian Vettel.

Fernando Alonso now leads after finishing third, while Lewis Hamilton drops to fourth. Nico Rosberg is now fifth in the drivers' championship, having been seventh prior to the weekend, ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Jenson Button, who failed to score.

Red Bull Racing meanwhile continues to head the constructors', now 38 points ahead of McLaren, while Ferrari and Lotus share third, with 86 points on the board. Mercedes lies fifth with 61.
