F1 QUIZ: Looking back at Monaco, and forward to Canada!

See how much you remember about last week's race in Monaco, and get up to speed in time for the next race in Canada by clicking here for the latest Crash.net quiz!
Monaco was the sixth race of the 2012 season and is always one of the highlights of the year. It might not have been the most thrilling race of the year, but there was a lot going on over the extended race weekend - let's see how much you remember!

We won't be asking you who won the race (we kind of figure you know that was Mark Webber ahead of Nico Rosberg and Fernando Alonso), or even who finished top in qualifying for the race (that would be Michael Schumacher, even if he didn't start on pole because of his held-over grid penalty from Barcelona.) But even so, we figure that you won't have too much trouble with the five Monte Carlo questions this time around if you were paying attention to the more headline-grabbing events of the Monaco Grand Prix.

After that, something a little different: although we're technically in the middle of the 'European leg' of the 2012 F1 season, next weekend sees a one-off flyaway race to North America for the Canadian Grand Prix. So we thought we'd have a change of pace in the quiz, too, and have the second set of five questions in our June quiz take a more historical approach and recall Montreal events from years gone past.

Last year saw Jenson Button claim a famous win at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, at the end of surely one of the most memorable races of 2011. Perhaps Canada will again prove just the tonic to revive an oddly flagging McLaren this year.

Crash.net is here to get you in the mood for what's to come by stimulating a few little memory cells of things that happened in the past. As ever, the quiz is a test of your F1 knowledge rather than of your Internet searching skills, so try and make sure that you resist the temptation of using Google, Wikipedia and all those other invaluable online repositories of knowledge (yes, even Crash.net's own superlative news archives!) when you give the quiz a go so that nothing interferes with your legitimate bragging rights once the quizzing is over.
