QUIZ: Get up to speed for Silverstone!

Get ready for another fabulous weekend of F1 action at Silverstone: CLICK HERE to take the official 2012 Crash.net British Grand Prix quiz!
Even though 2012 is packed with the likes of the Jubilee, Olympics and Wimbledon, next weekend's F1 British Grand Prix is still one of the absolute highlights of this year's supersized summer of events in the UK. Maybe this year one of the three British drivers - Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Paul di Resta - will be standing on top of the podium after the chequered flag.

We here at Crash.net Towers are getting more than a little excited at the prospect and want to get the action underway with a little test of everyone's memory cells, to see how much you remember of the magic of Silverstone, Brands Hatch and all the other wonderful circuits that have played host to the British GP down the years.

Don't worry if your history expertise isn't one of your strong points, there are also some more recent and current questions mixed in as well. And most of all, we hope you have fun finding out some interesting facts and anecdotes about the event and the circuits down the years.

As ever, it's best if you try and avoid resorting to using Google, Wikipedia or even Crash.net's own admittedly imcomparable news archives for the duration of the quiz, as that way it'll be a lot more fun and satisfying when you want to brag about how well (or not!) you've done.

Ready to dazzle us with your knowledge? Then CLICK HERE to take the quiz! You can let us know how you did by clicking on the 'Post your comments' link below once you're done.
