], although there was no official comment from either party about the matter.
Quizzed on the matter during Thursday's FIA press conference at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix, di Resta refused to go into any detail about the split – simply confirming that the reports were indeed correct and that his current focus was firmly on his job at hand.
“I think everything has been said that needs to be said,” he replied when asked about the situation. “I can confirm that we aren't working together. It's been reported that we aren't working together and that is the matter.
“At the moment I am focussed on the racing as it's results that count and what drives me forward. We've had a good year up until now and we need to continue that progress. The focus this weekend is to have a good race and it's a big weekend for me with a lot of support behind me.
“To be one of three Brits racing here this weekend you get a feeling of what it is like to have a country behind you; the atmosphere is electric. Hopefully we can put on a good show.”
