Hamilton 'still in the hunt' for title

"I just wish we could have done more for the fans today," Hamilton agreed. "I raced my heart out and was flat-out right to the end."

Hamilton did give the fans an extra show on the cool-down lap to say thanks to all the fans that had come today despite all the problems with the weather and traffic over the weekend.

"I gave the fans a little donut on the slow-down lap, simply because I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out to watch us here today," he explained. "I'd love to have done better in my home Grand Prix, but, regardless, the fans were fantastic throughout the weekend."

Not even halfway through the season yet. Still too early to call so Lewis is certainly still in the chase. Looking like it could be the most interesting season this century.

From what I could see on the TV lewis has a large No. of fans at Silverstone.. The car didn't work well today. I must say that lighting pit-stop was impressively quick. Tiapan man its time to try something new. This continued nonsensical flogging of Hamilton on the forum is getting a little tiresome.. Maybe you should change you style, be a little more truthful.Hating anyone that much is a little dangerous to your mental health .. Dam Sam, day after day the same BS. Get a life baby.. Badman, Jose
