Clos gets third Friday run with HRT

Dani Clos to get to do more miles with HRT's F112

Dani Clos will get to drive for HRT during opening practice for the F1 2012 German Grand Prix this weekend.

The Spaniard, who made his second appearance on a race weekend with the squad in Friday practice at the British Grand Prix two weeks ago, will again 'borrow' Narain Karthikeyan's car, and he is hoping to get in some proper running, after wet weather limited him to just 11 laps at Silverstone.

“I'm happy to be getting into the car again; it's another very good opportunity for me,” Clos said. “I wasn't able to do much mileage in Silverstone because of the weather but my sensations and the work we did were very positive both for me and the team. We did a great job on a wet track and, although it was brief, it was very intense.

“Hockenheim will be a good opportunity to improve and do more miles with the F112.

“Besides, it's a track I know and that I find enjoyable, and a place where I have good memories. I'm confident and really looking forward to getting back on to the track,” he added.
