Nico Hulkenberg has said he is happy at Force India
and would like to remain with the team in 2013.
Hulkenberg had to sit out last season after being dropped by Williams, but his decision to join Force India
as a test and reserve driver paid off, with him getting the call up to replace Adrian Sutil.
Thus far this year he has scored 19 points and last weekend he was ninth in Germany, the fifth time he has finished in the top-ten. He is currently 15th in the drivers' championship, 8 points behind team-mate, Paul di Resta.
“I'm happy here at Sahara Force India, I can see myself staying here,” Hulkenberg told ESPNF1.com
on Thursday in Hungary, although he confirmed nothing is yet in place for 2013.
“Since we've come [back] to Europe I feel I've been getting better and better. I feel more comfortable and that the experience is helping a bit.
“I feel it's going in a positive direction, which is good to know and it's good to have that feeling.”
