Petrov linked with three

Vitaly Petrov's manager says the Russian has three options other than Caterham for F1 2013
Vitaly Petrov's manager Oksana Kosachenko says three teams other than Caterham could have a role for the Russian driver for the 2013 F1 season.

Petrov joined Caterham on the eve of the new season having been brought in to replace Jarno Trulli but has yet to score a point – with his best finish being 13th in Valencia.

Speaking to RIA Novosti, Petrov's manager Oksana Kosachenko said she was keen to see the former GP2 racer secure his future with more time to spare for 2013 and added that he needed to be in a position to score with the first F1 race on Russian soil drawing closer.

“Before autumn we have to be ready to take some decisions. I don't want to be in the situation which we faced last year,” Kosachenko said. “I would like something in my hands, something we can put on the table when we don't have any proper offer from Caterham F1.

“Facing the [first Russian] Grand Prix in 2014, which is one and a half years, it's important we have a driver who can work as a promoter of the Grand Prix, we can use as a very nice marketing tool to promote the Grand Prix. For this, we need a driver who is shown on TV, who's collecting points, who's delivering positive emotions. That's why we believe that Vitaly has to run in a team which can collect points.”

Kosachenko added that staying with Caterham was very much an option if the team could get into a position where it would allow Petrov to challenge for the top ten.

“The main priority is to keep staying in the team we're in at the moment,” she said. “They're developing and we're expecting big progress in the second half of the season, so we'll see what we will have.”

Looks like Petrovs manager is clever as Petrov's a good driver, What 3, point scoring teams would even look at Petrov, come on now don't insult our intelligence, hes only driving at Catherham who never score points because of Money.
