F1 POLL: Does Schumacher deserve Suzuka grid penalty?

Mercedes driver Michael Schumacher crashed out of the 2012 F1 Singapore Grand Prix in pretty spectacular style again on Sunday, when he ran into the back of the Toro Rosso's of Jean-Eric Vergne on lap 38.

While post-race, Schumacher insisted it wasn't drive error and that something had gone wrong with the brakes [see separate story - HERE], the stewards felt the seven-time world champion was too blame and promptly handed him a ten-place grid penalty for the next event in Japan [see separate story - HERE].

But does he really deserve that?

Was the punishment a bit harsh or do you think it should have been greater?

It's very inconsistent penalty. I think the stewards have got it in for him. Slap on the wrists yes, small fine yes, but 10 place grid penalty for an accident !!!!

Watching a replay from overhead I think it's just possible to see that his rear brakes locked up before the fronts. He had been having issues with rears locking throughout practise. Is it possible for telemetry to tell absolutely all i.e every little real feeling rather than pure sensor data ( bearing in mind that as Coulthard pointed out the front of the car was trashed ). It was all bit frantic after the re-start, Vergne and Perez suddenly really slowed down and Schumi locked up from way back - odd. Over harsh penalty, but expected.
