Sauber names drivers for Abu Dhabi Young Driver test

Sauber to send Esteban Gutierrez and Robin Frijns to Abu Dhabi for Young driver test from November 6-8
Esteban Gutierrez and Robin Frijns will run for Sauber during the Young Driver test in Abu Dhabi next month, it has been announced.

Frijns, who won the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup in 2011 and who is currently battling for the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 World Series, will be in action on the opening day of the three-day test.

Gutierrez meanwhile will test on days two and three. The 21-year-old will be making his fourth test outing with the team since he first got inside an F1 cockpit back at the end of 2009.

The Mexican has been the official reserve driver for the Swiss-based team since 2011 and is believed to be in the frame for a race seat in 2013 as a possible replacement for the McLaren bound Sergio Perez.

The Abu Dhabi Young Driver test is schedule to run from November 6-8, following the race at the Yas Marina Circuit - the 18th round in the 2012 F1 World Championship - on November 4.

When Toto Wolff's wife at age 30 or something is eating up all Williams F1 young driver test programs I guess Valsechi is can be described as "very young driver" plus Razia should be given a chance!
