Red Bull Racing has revealed that it intends to run two of the hottest rising talents from the World Series by Renault at next month's 'young driver' test in Abu Dhabi, after announcing that both new champion Robin Frijns and multiple racewinner Antonio Felix da Costa will share the three days.

Portuguese driver Felix da Costa is an existing member of the Red Bull Junior team and, whilst already on his way to third in the GP3 Championship, had the WSbR added to his schedule as replacement for Lewis Williamson at the Arden Caterham team. The Portuguese ace competed in six of the nine rounds, taking four wins and, amazingly, finishing in fourth place overall.

The 21-year old got a taste of F1 power recently, when he drove a Red Bull Racing RB7 at a show car event in Seoul, and will run for the first two days of the Abu Dhabi test before handing over to Dutch rival Frijns.

Having last week been confirmed as one of two drivers due to test with Sauber at the Yas Marina session between 6-8 November, Frijns went on to claim the WSbR title as a rookie after a three-way battle with Ferrari Academy member Jules Bianchi and Mercedes test driver Sam Bird. His outing with RBR is the result of tie-up between the series and the F1 team, courtesy of mutual partner Renault.

Great news for all Dutch racing fans. It has been so long ago since a real talented, young Dutch driver hits the F1 scene. And there are more to come: Max Verstappen, yes the son of.... and Nicky de Vries, member of the McLaren Driver Academy.
