Robert Kubica takes another rally win
Kubica wins on latest rally outing
Robert Kubica has continued his recovery from injury with victory on his latest rally outing.

The former BMW Sauber and Lotus man contested the Rally di Como at the wheel of a Citroen C4 WRC as he works towards regaining full fitness after the serious accident he suffered in a rally accident last year.

Kubica took victory in the event by just under 31 seconds ahead of Felice Re, who wrapped up the 2012 Trofeo Asfalto title as a result of his finish.

The appearance in Italy was the first of two that Kubica will make at the wheel of the Citroen, which carried Sebastien Loeb to four of his WRC titles.

"I am pleased to win a rally that is so difficult, it has been a real adventure,” Kubica said. "It was a good test ahead of the Rallye du Var in France and has helped me to understand the Citroen C4 a little better.”
