Romain Grosjean will return to the Race of Champions this season after being confirmed as one of the latest drivers to sign up for the end of year event in Bangkok.
The Lotus driver will be making his second appearance in the event and will team up with Volkswagen WRC driver Sebastien Ogier in the Team France line-up.
The pair reached the semi-final stage in the Nations Cup element of the event last year, although Grosjean was knocked out at the group stage of the Race of Champions after going up against Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen and F1 title winner Sebastian Vettel.
“The Race Of Champions is special and I'm proud to be in the line-up again alongside such big names from so many different areas of motor sport,” Grosjean said. “It's a great show seeing these guys driving all the cars to the limit and I hope Team France can achieve something too.
“Sebastien did a fantastic job to win the individual event last year and it was a pity we were knocked out in the ROC Nations Cup semi-finals. We will aim to go a bit further this time but the main thing is to have fun and to put on a show for the crowds in the stadium.”
