Recently, Crash.net asked you rate the 2012 F1 season by giving it a mark ranging from 10 (fantastic) to 1 (dull) and the results were conclusive, with almost everyone giving it a resounding thumbs up.

Granted the outcome was the same as in 2010 and 2011, with Sebastian Vettel taking his third title, but the Red Bull Racing man was made to work for it and the fight went right to the wire. In total there were eight different winners over the 20-race campaign and six world champions on track - more than at any stage in the past. A vintage year then, and one Sir Jackie Stewart said earlier this month it was 'as good as we could have had' and it seems you all agree...

In the end, 91.30 percent of you gave it a mark of 7 or more out of 10, while in contrast only 8.7 percent of you gave it a mark of 6 or less, with only 2.9 percent saying it was dull.
