Marko: No change in Red Bull balance of power

Helmut Marko says Mark Webber will be number two to Sebastian Vettel again in 2013
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko says he doesn't expect 'the balance of power' within the team to change this season – suggesting that Mark Webber will find himself behind Sebastian Vettel in the pecking order.

While Webber has finished inside the top six for the past four seasons, he has been behind team-mate Vettel on each occasion – with the German taking second in 2009 before his hat-trick of championship titles.

The pair are expected to challenge at the front again in 2013 but Marko suggested that Webber was aware that his role was to support Vettel in the title race.

"Mark knows what we expect of him," Marko told Sport Bild. "For four years, Vettel and Webber have driven together in our team. Sebastian was runner-up once and champion three times.

"The statistic speaks for itself. There is no reason to think the balance of power will change."

Webber has a deal until the end of the current season having signed a new twelve-month deal last year.
