Sahara Force India has announced that it has entered into a 'multi-year agreement' with Speedy Services to become an official team supplier.

Speedy is the leading provider of equipment and support services to various industries including infrastructure, industrial, construction and events.

The relationship will give Sahara Force India access to the latest range of innovative, lean, safe and sustainable equipment to help with maintenance projects at the team's Silverstone HQ.

“It's an exciting time for Sahara Force India as we continue to invest in our facilities and infrastructure over the coming years,” Otmar Szafnauer, Chief Operating Officer at Sahara Force India, said. “The agreement with Speedy is very timely and will assist with general maintenance of our factory resources. We welcome Speedy to the team and look forward to working with them for many years to come.”

Speedy branding will be visible across the team's marketing materials and website, with branding on the race cars and pit crew lollipop for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

"We are delighted to have formed a partnership with such a glamorous and well-established brand as Sahara Force India,” Derek Bailey, Market Director - Engineering & Industrial Services for Speedy, added. “Speedy is committed to meeting all of the team's needs with our wide range of high-performance equipment. Sahara Force India prides itself on teamwork, technology and dedication – the very same standards we bring to our customers.

“Formula One also offers the ideal platform to ensure we deliver worldwide awareness and recognition for the Speedy brand.”

Now why would any company run into a multi year partnership deal if its customer is in so called 'financial crisis' ? The crisis report was a big truce. They also had a similar deal with 3d Systems recently. I think people should give it a break & stop concluding Vijay's bad businesses & FI's being in crisis or not ! This team has come up every year in a progressive way & it will do so this year n in the coming years too.

ambik. there is no comment on what partnership means. who is paying who, or maybe it is just that equipment is supplied in return for advertising. nothing in the press release indicates the context of the partnership. apart fro that, the deal, whatever it is, is between the TEAM and a supplier, not a personal deal with mallya.
