Razia refers to 'dream' Marussia deal

"There are still some seats available in F1 and negotiations are ongoing,” a spokesman told Sky Sports, “At the moment, we have made no decision."

Ironically, the only member of GP2's latest top four not to get a race seat for 2013 is reigning champion Davide Valsecchi, who was unveiled as Lotus' reserve during the Enstone team's launch ceremony on Monday. Chilton finished fourth behind the Italian and Razia, while third-placed Esteban Gutierrez will graduate to Sauber's front-line pairing.

Razia also puts his F1 opportunity down to the Arden team, which offered him a chance to race in 2012 just as it appeared that he may have to return to his native Brazil. Grabbing the opportunity with both hands, he won four times and pushed Valsecchi all the way to the Singapore finale before ceding the title.

Christian Horner is his manager and has said he wanted to see Razia in F1 interesting 'cause I didn't see this coming. Now with Horner in Red Bull until 2017 he might want Razia in RB in 2014.

Anyone else think Razia sounds like a spoilt brat? Bad form to talk about this before anything is confirmed by the team. Even worse for him to be making comments about Glock's seat being unsafe after Chilton was signed. It just seems like this guy gathered as much money as he could find and bought the team over to signing him. He's nothing special and I'm guessing he will be driving in Formula Truck or Stock Cars in Brazil in two years time. Meanwhile, Marussia will be no more and we'll be back with a very depleted grid. Sad times.
