Images of the new Marussia MR02 after its launch at Jerez prior to the start of F1 testing in Spain
Marussia became the ninth team to reveal its 2013 challenger with the covers coming off the MR02 on Tuesday morning prior to the start of testing at Jerez.

Unlike previous efforts from the Manor Motorsport-run team, the MR02 has been designed with the use of a wind tunnel, whereas previously, the team used CFD to design its cars – the change in design coming after the split with Wirth Research in mid-2011.

Thus far, the team has only signed Max Chilton for the new season with the departure of Timo Glock having opened up a vacancy that is expected to be filled by Luiz Razia.

40 years ago, the arrival of sponsor on cars will have disturbed many. now the lack of them saddens even the most hard nosed armchair expert. You just know this is marussia's last year

@Jb21 Unlike the Marussia, the Brawn car has concieved under the ownership of Honda and was so well-prepared for the new rules that the car was fast enought to pick up new sponsors (and loadsa prize money!) :p
