Sutil confirmed for Force India test

Force India has confirmed that, as expected, it will run three drivers in this week's Barcelona test.
As expected, Force India has confirmed that Paul di Resta, Jules Bianchi and Adrian Sutil will all get to test its VJM0 in Barcelona this week.

The addition of Sutil was anticipated after the German revealed that he had been for a seat fitting at Force India's Silverstone base last week, but it remained to be seen whether it would be at the expense of either di Resta or Bianchi, who shared the bulk of the running at Jerez earlier in the month. James Rossiter also got a taste of the car, but mainly to help with his evaluation of the team's simulator.

Sutil and Bianchi are thought to be the only remaining candidates for the second Force India seat alongside di Resta, despite a late bid from Narain Karthikeyan last week. While Ferrari is thought to be pushing Bianchi's cause - possibly with the carrot of an engine supply from Maranello when the new rules package kicks in in 2014 - Sutil is thought to have access to more sponsorship.

"Ahead of the second pre-season test, Sahara Force India is pleased to announce that Paul Di Resta, Jules Bianchi and Adrian Sutil will all test for the team this week," an official team statement confirmed.

"Paul di Resta will drive the VJM06 on Tuesday and Wednesday, before handing over to former team-mate Adrian Sutil on Thursday. For the final day of running on Friday, Jules Bianchi will spend another day working with the team"

Sutil's management has admitted that the test could be the German's 'last chance' to secure a return to the F1 grid.

Avoid Sutil. A leopard doesn't change its spots and from reading what Sutil has been quoted as saying in recent times, I can see he still swaggers and struts around with the same aggressively overpumped ego.
