Sky Sports to show Motor Sport Hall of Fame

The annual Motor Sport Magazine Hall of Fame ceremony to be shown on Sky Sports F1
The 2013 Motor Sport magazine Hall of Fame ceremony is to be broadcast by Sky Sports.

The annual awards ceremony will take place on Monday 25 February at the Royal Opera House in London, and will be hosted by Sky Sports F1 presenters Simon Lazenby and Natalie Pinkham.

Other members of the Sky Sports F1 team will also be present on the night, including Martin Brundle, Damon Hill, Johnny Herbert, Ted Kravitz and David Croft.

“We are delighted to be able to give our viewers exclusive access to the Motor Sport magazine Hall of Fame, via our confirmed status as the event's first ever UK broadcast partner,” Martin Turner, executive producer for Sky Sports F1 said.

“Formula One has a rich heritage and, before we enter yet another new and exciting season, it seems fitting that we pay tribute to some of the greatest names that have pioneered the fastest sport on the planet – which enthrals millions of fans on a global scale.”

The first showing of the event will be on Sky Sports F1 on Friday 01 March at 16:30hrs, as part of the hour-long show that will also cover the final pre-season test at Catalunya – with further repeats during the subsequent week.
