Hamilton made 'right choice' in joining Mercedes

“I've got really great strategists, I just trust them - if they make a decision, we still stick by it. I think everyone, no matter what strategy you're on, is going to struggle on the option tyre, whether it's high or low fuel.”

Hamilton also played down suggestions that the allergic reaction he laid him low on Thursday could return to play a part in the race.

“Of course, it worries you a little bit, thinking you might not be a hundred per cent, but I've just been getting plenty of rest and this is definitely the best day I've had for a few days now,” he confirmed, “Hopefully, tomorrow, should be even better...”

actually locking up the left front didn't hurt him that bad given his attack angle, in fact it might have helped him skip it, most of the weight was on the right side of the car and he had plenty of room to run out while achieving a uniform velocity approach down the straight. The (at least 2) back markers hurt Lewis the most in the last lap.
