Bridgestone has confirmed it currently has no plans to re-enter F1, the sport it quit at the end of 2010.

Pirelli has still to renew its exclusive deal and while Pirelli president Marco Tronchetti Provera said recently that he is confident his company will continue as F1's sole tyre supplier beyond 2013 [see separate story - HERE], the fall-out from the 'secret' test it conducted with Mercedes following the Spanish Grand Prix could yet derail things, especially as the FIA has now said it will convene an International Tribunal.

Bridgestone, however, it seems, is not interested in a return, at least in 2014.
