Georgie Thompson says all eyes will be on Jenson Button at Silverstone in two weeks' time, as McLaren look to recapture some form going into their home race.

Thompson, who was a presenter for Sky Sports F1 during their debut season in 2012, believes there will be added pressure on Button and McLaren to perform at Silverstone: "We can't be sure what's going on at McLaren really, it's an interesting one," Thompson told

"It's a case of how quickly can they get back on track, and we hope that Jenson can do that at Silverstone. I don't know what upgrades they are taking to Silverstone, so whether that represents a better opportunity for improvement or not, we'll have to wait and see.

"It'll definitely be the place where all eyes will be on Jenson and on McLaren to see what they can do."

Thompson is currently working in an ambassadorial role for Suremen's official partnership with the Lotus F1 team, where they are giving fans a chance to win a track day in the single-seated Lotus F1 car in the South of France.

Having attended every race last season, Thompson admits she hasn't made as many Grand Prix's as she would have liked so far this time around, but believes the current campaign has been fascinating to watch: "It's still been very interesting; a lot of storylines have continued to develop," she added.

"Lotus were very quick off the mark with Kimi and took that early opportunity. It's good to see that they've built on that and not faded away. It showed that the win in Abu Dhabi last year wasn't a fluke and that the success they had there has been built upon this year.

"Force India, quite literally, have been a force to be reckoned with so far. And Fernando (Alonso) as ever has been up there; he's sitting nicely in second in the championship and may be able to spring a surprise."

However, Thompson admits that despite still being in the early stages of the season, she would not back against the reigning world champion making it four in a row: "It's hard to look past Red Bull and Vettel again, I think it's probably the most viable bet at this point." she said.
