Button discusses triathlon success - VIDEO

18 July 2013

Jenson Button is well known to be a fan of triathlons, with the McLaren driver using the event that carries his name to race funds for Help for Heroes this season.

Just under £30,000 was raised from the 2013 event, despite over half of pledges still to be received, with competitors all taking part in two events – a SuperSprint heat contested over the shorter distances of 300m swim, 9km bike and 2.5km run and then a final comprising a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run.

Button and fellow F1 racer Paul di Resta both took part but it was Gavin Noble who won the mens race by just two seconds ahead of Bryan Keane, while India Lee beat Emma Pallant to the womens title.
