Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel has set his sights on taking his maiden win in Hungary next weekend.
Vettel took his fourth victory of the season earlier this month in Germany, and in the process not only won at home for the first time, but also broke his July 'jinx'.
The result extended his lead in the Drivers' Championship from 21 points to 34 and he will be eager to stretch his advantage even further now in Budapest to ensure he concludes the first half of the season in the best possible way.
“Hungary has some interesting memories for me,” said Vettel. “It was my first F1 race with the Red Bull family; [and] let's hope I can add to my memories now by winning there for the first time before I go on holiday.”
The Hungarian GP will be the first with the revised Pirelli tyres and Vettel is keen to see just what affect they will have...
“We have had two exciting races [in Germany and Britain] where tyres played an important role. This will be our first race back on the 2012 tyres and we will have to see how they respond to the demands of the long corners and high track temperatures [in Hungary],” he added.
