QUIZ: The men on the move in the F1 driver market

Daniel Ricciardo's confirmation at Red Bull seems to have unplugged that blockage in the driver transfer market, and we've got a a brand new quiz for you based on all the latest news...
That long break in August is well and truly in the past now. Not only have we seen two fast-paced Grand Prix races since then in arguably the most historic circuits in the world (Spa-Francorchamps and Monza), we've also seen a flurry of big news concerning forthcoming driver moves.

While it was arguably confirmation at last that Daniel Ricciardo would be taking over from his compatriot Mark Webber in the second Red Bull alongside world champion Sebastian Vettel in 201, the biggest news is surely the return to Ferrari of former world champion Kimi Raikkonen, completing an extraordinary comeback story for the Finn whose time in F1 had seemed well and truly behind him before he and Lotus took a mutual chance on one another just a little over 18 months ago.

With all this drama happening away from the track in the last few weeks we thought we'd take a break from our usual Grand Prix quizzical recaps and take a look instead at the main movers and shakers in the current driver transfer market as the 2013 silly season reaches its climax and we finally get a sense of how the grid will look at the start of next season.

So what do you know about Ricciardo and Raikkonen, and about some of the other drivers affected by the latest news - such as Felipe Massa and Nico Hulkenberg both of whom may now struggle to find a seat for 2014? And with the oldest man in the sport (Webber) retiring just as one of the youngest (Sergei Sirotkin) is due to take up a seat at Sauber in 2014, which drivers does that leave uncomfortably eyeing the number of candles on their next birthday cake?

You'll find the first of ten questions waiting for you by CLICKING HERE to go to the all-new Crash.net quiz reviewing the driver news and the men who will be on the move at the end of the current season, one way or another. You'll need a good knowledge of recent F1 to do well (or just be a really good guesser!) but do try and avoid looking up the answers in Google, Wikipedia or Crash.net's news archives for the first time through at least. That way you'll not only be treated to a veritable all-you-can-eat buffet of fascinating driver trivia, you'll also have a clean conscience when you 'Post your comments' below to let us all know how you fared.

Formation lap completed? Ready to get underway? Then it's time to sign your contracts and get started with the quiz. Good luck, and have fun!
