Lewis Hamilton is to make a special guest appearance at the final round of the DTM season at Hockenheim.

The Mercedes man will attend the event on 20 October between the F1 events in Japan and India and will conduct passenger rides in Mercedes' DTM 'race taxi' - giving a select group the chance to gain a unique view of the circuit.

Hamilton is no stranger to the DTM paddock, having spent two seasons running in the F3 Euroseries on his way up to F1.
