Heikki Kovalainen insists that his talks with Caterham about a possible return to the F1 grid are the only serious discussions he has held.

The Finn was left without a drive this year after being replaced in the team's line-up, although he has since gone on to take part in Friday practice at a number of events.

On the back of his most recent outing at Suzuka, Kovalainen revealed that discussions with the Leafield-based team were ongoing, and he was awaiting a decision as to whether a return to a race seat was possible for next year.
