Victory in Japan marked the 35th time that the German has taken to the top step of the podium, meaning he sits fourth on the all-time winners list with a percentage win record better than the likes of Schumacher, Senna and Prost.

That record is made all the more impressive by the fact that Vettel's first win only came in 2008, when he took victory at Monza for Toro Rosso.
