He may be heading for the toughest job in F1, but Daniel Ricciardo can be assured of a warm welcome when he formally arrives as a Red Bull driver.

The Australian will step into the cockpit currently occupied by countryman Mark Webber when the 2013 season ends, and the elder statesman will be the first to attest to how hard it is to partner Sebastian Vettel after five years partnering the German - four of which produced world titles for his opposite number.

Ricciardo knows that he will need to step up to the plate after two years honing his craft at Toro Rosso, and it remains to be seen how long the youngster's 'perma-smile' lasts in Milton Keynes, but, for now, Vettel is looking forward to forming a new partnership.
