Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat has earned his F1 Super Licence following a test at Misano in Italy last week.

The 19-year-old, who will replace the Red Bull-bound Daniel Ricciardo in the Toro Rosso line-up next year, and who won the GP3 title this season, completed 102 laps - just over 400 kilometres - at the track as part of a filming day, using the team's 2011 spec car, the STR6.

He will now be fine to run in opening practice ahead of this weekend's United States Grand Prix, using Jean-Eric Vergne's car, before then doing the same in Brazil, when he will borrow Ricciardo's machine.
