Ferrari has revealed that Pedro de la Rosa and Jules Bianchi will be on driving duty during next week's during the Pirelli tyre test in Bahrain next week.

The FIA announced the three-day test earlier this week 'on safety grounds' to allow teams to have some running on 2014 spec tyres, which they were unable to do in Brazil after rain hit Friday practice.

Pirelli had provided each team with prototype tyres that could have been used at Interlagos.

Ferrari has now confirmed that test driver de la Rosa and Driver Academy member Bianchi will share driving duties at the Sakhir circuit, with de la Rosa behind the wheel of the F138 for the opening two days to 'continue to address the development work' he has been carrying out in the simulator.

Bianchi, who impressed with Marussia this season, will then be given the chance to 'demonstrate the experience gained in Formula 1 this year' when he gets behind the wheel on the final day.

Ferrari will be joined at the test by Red Bull, Toro Rosso and Mercedes, with McLaren and Force India having elected not to make the trip despite being on the list of six teams originally announced.
