Toro Rosso confirms Bahrain F1 test line-up

Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kvyat to run for Toro Rosso in Bahrain F1 test
Toro Rosso has become the third team to confirm its plans for next week's three-day Pirelli tyre test in Bahrain.

The Italian team will run its 2014 driver pairing over the course of the three days, with Jean Eric-Vergne and Daniil Kvyat both getting a day and a half behind the wheel in order to sample the latest Pirelli rubber for the first time.

Vergne will be at the wheel of the STR8 on the first day of the test and will be then return to the track for the second morning before handing the car over newcomer Kvyat in the afternoon

The Russian youngster will then conclude the test with a full day on track on the third day.

The announcement from Toro Rosso means Mercedes are the only team still to announce its drivers, with Red Bull running Sebastien Buemi and Ferrari splitting its running between Pedro de la Rosa and Jules Bianchi.

The test will run from the 17th to the 19th December.
