Red Bull has announced a reshuffle in its technical team following the departure of Mark Ellis and Giles Wood to Mercedes.
Ellis had held the role of chief engineer for vehicle dynamics at Red Bull
since 2008, while Wood held a similar position in charge of simulation and analysis.
The pair will move to Brackley for the 2014 season having been signed to help strengthen Mercedes' technical team as it seeks to take the fight to Red Bull
for title honours next year.
Following the news that the pair are to leave, Red Bull
has announced that Pierre Waché - formally chief engineer, Car Performance - will now take over responsibility for the Vehicle Dynamics department for the team with immediate effect.
Waché joined Red Bull
from Sauber earlier this year.
