Here are a selection of memorable moments captured on camera during the 2013 F1 season looking back at how Sebastian Vettel won the title for a fourth time.

Part one features the first ten rounds of the year, in chronological order, with the second half of the season after the summer break to follow…

Australian GP: The season starts in Melbourne with defending champion Sebastian Vettel on pole for Red Bull Racing
Australian GP: Vettel is unable to convert pole into victory however, with Kimi Raikkonen taking the first win of the year for Lotus
Malaysian GP: In poor weather conditions at Sepang, Fernando Alonso is an early retirement as a broken front wing sees him go off at turn one
Malaysian GP: Controversy comes later on in the race when Vettel ignores team orders and passes Mark Webber for the lead
Malaysian GP: The relationship between the Red Bull pair is clearly strained afterwards as a result
Chinese GP: Bouncing back from his Malaysian disappointment, Alonso opens his account for the season with victory in China
Bahrain GP: DRS issues blight Alonso's challenge in Bahrain and prevent him from fighting for victory
Bahrain GP: Vettel is able to take his second win of the year ahead of Lotus pair Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean
Spanish GP: An all-Mercedes front row leads off at the start at Catalunya, but come the end of the race, it is Alonso who secures his second win of 2013
Monaco GP: Action aplenty on the streets of Monaco sees Bernd Maylander spend plenty of time heading the pack in the Mercedes Safety Car
Monaco GP: Through all the chaos, it is Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg who wins the race, 30 years after his father Keke also took top honours in the principality
Canadian GP: Vettel wins in Montreal to go 36 points clear in the standings, but his victory is overshadowed by the death of marshal Mark Robinson, who is hit by a crane while helping with the recovery of Esteban Gutierrez's Sauber
British GP: Severe tyre issues see Lewis Hamilton, Felipe Massa and Jean-Eric Vergne all suffer punctures, leading the race going behind the Safety Car so marshals can clean the circuit
British GP: Vettel looks set to win again only for a gearbox failure to force him into retirement
British GP: It leaves Rosberg to win for Mercedes, although it is the tyre issues that will dominate the post-race headlines
German GP: Tyre issues of a different sort in Germany see a camera man injured when he is hit by a wheel that has come away from Mark Webber's Red Bull
German GP: Vettel wins again in a race remembered for Jules Bianchi's driverless Marussia going for a little jaunt of its own mid-race
Hungarian GP: The summer break comes around with Lewis Hamilton celebrating his first victory for Mercedes in Budapest
