We've had the results of the Driver and Rider of the Year polls for each of our motorports channels, but now it's time to decide who is the best of the best for 2013.

As is traditional here at Crash.net, we've asked you to rate all the drivers and riders from the most popular motorsport championships, selected from the individual winners that we've already announced. Now we're offering you the chance to name your overall Racer of the Year 2013 - in other words, the top performer across all motorsport championships!

To qualify, we've taken the winner from each of the individual votes carried out in December and now we want you to tell us who you think is 'best of the best'?

It's a tricky question: how did Kimi Raikkonen or Marc Marquez compare to, say, Tom Sykes or Robert Kubica? And what about Michael Dunlop, Scott Dixon, Alex Lowes, Andrew Jordan, Sam Bird and Matt Kenseth?

How you make your decision on who deserves the ultimate accolade is down to you. Whether it's the person who made the biggest impact in their sport, who who impressed the most, or who just did something far and beyond what was expected, the criteria is down to you.

To try and be fair and unbiased about it, the ten candidates are displayed in a completely impartial alphabetical order. You can vote for each of the ten, or just your favourite(s). Whatever you decide, just go through and give a mark to the contenders from one (poor) to ten (excellent) - then we'll do the rest and come up with an overall average for each of the ten racers.

But however you make your decision, make it fast! This poll is only open for a week in total, with the voting set to conclude on Wednesday January 15. If you don't cast your votes now then don't blame us if you miss out on having your say!
