The Mercedes AMG Petronas team has revealed its testing rota for this week's Bahrain session, with Lewis Hamilton again getting first bite at the W05.

The Briton kicked off pre-season testing for the Silver Arrows at Jerez nearly three weeks ago, but saw his first day cut short when the latest creation from the Brackley operation suffered a front wing failure that sent him into the tyre barrier.

After that, however, both Hamilton and Rosberg enjoyed better reliability than their rivals, racking up the laps over the remaining three days, albeit without setting the outright pace.

There was encouragement for Mercedes, however, as customer teams McLaren and Williams showed the potential of the marque's new turbocharged V6 'power unit' by setting the pace on three of the four days.

With four days at Bahrain International Circuit set to reveal how much progress has been made away from the track, Hamilton will run on Wednesday and Friday, with Rosberg taking over on Thursday and Saturday.
