Daniel Ricciardo's early season form continues to be a talking point in F1 circles, and out-qualifying Sebastian Vettel for the third time in four races ensured that the matter was raised again in China.

This time, four-time world champion Vettel was asked what it was like to have a more competitive team-mate alongside him in the Red Bull line-up.
"That's a compliment to Mark [Webber] in his absence!" he noted, referring to his long-time colleague, who was making his sportscar return at Silverstone even as the German spoke.

Having made his point, Vettel tried to explain that it was hard to compare the two Australians with who he has shared the RBR camp, given that F1 had undergone a major overhaul since Webber's departure.
