Ron Dennis says there is "no question" that McLaren is making progress following changes made earlier this season.

Having returned as CEO of McLaren this year, Dennis installed Eric Boullier as racing director and has moved to shake up the team following a podium-less 2013. Jenson Button consistently references the changes made this year as cause for optimism for the future, and Dennis told that he is confident the areas he has addressed are starting to pay dividends.

"There are loads of changes in the team, you just move things around," Dennis said. "But it takes a while for things to bed down and to get the results. But we're going forward, there's no question we are going forward."

With both drivers out of contract at the end of the season, the lack of a new deal for Button specifically has led to speculation that another one of the changes could be the driver line-up for next year. However, with Button himself saying he is in no rush to sort his future, Dennis agreed that it would be some time before McLaren is focusing on contracts.

"Our driver line-up for next year we will consider some way down the road yet," Dennis said.
