British Grand Prix: F1 2014 standings

Championship positions after the ninth round of the 2014 F1 world championship in Britain
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton wins in Britain and cuts the gap to team-mate Nico Rosberg to 4 points.

Hamilton now has 161 points, while Rosberg – who retired – stays on 165. Daniel Ricciardo remains third but increases his tally to 98, with Alonso fourth on 87. Valtteri Bottas moves up to fifth on 73. Sebastian Vettel drops to sixth (with 70 points).

In the Constructors' Championship, Mercedes increases its tally to 326 points. Red Bull continues to hold second with 168, 158 back. Ferrari is third with 106, with Williams now fourth on 103.
