Sauber team principal Monisha Kaltenborn says talks are ongoing with potential investors in to the F1 team.

Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll has been linked with purchasing a stake in Sauber, although negotiations are believed to have proven more difficult than originally expected. However, while Kaltenborn admits Sauber is in the sort of position where it can freely have talks with interested investors, she confirmed to that progress is being made on that front.

"Every now and then we have people coming up, some are serious, some aren't, that's the difference," Kaltenborn said. "But I think as a private team we are also more open to these kinds of investors because we've seen in the past that when you have a strong partner a team like ours can achieve so much quickly because it's mainly about the financial stability in the team."
