Sauber has announced that its 2015 car - the C34 - has passed its FIA crash tests.

The team has been open about its financial difficulties this season, with Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez having been replaced by Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr - and their subsequent sponsorship - for next year.

However, Sauber appears to be progressing well with its plans for 2015, with the team tweeting the new car had passed the mandatory crash tests on Thursday.
