Jenson Button says it will "mean a lot" to him to have Fernando Alonso as his team-mate next season.

McLaren confirmed its driver line-up for 2015 last week and while Button conceded it will be a "big challenge" to go up against the Spaniard, he insists it is "something he is very much looking forward to."

"To be racing alongside Fernando really does mean a lot," Button said. "I think we all know what he has achieved in F1, not just his speed but how he works within a team, and how he is always there fighting.
