Maurizio Arrivabene requested that Sebastian Vettel visited Maranello on Thursday to spend more time with his new team.

Vettel was present at the team's headquarters on Thursday, just over two weeks before the start of pre-season testing in Jerez. Ferrari has undergone a number of changes since Vettel's arrival was announced, including the dismissal of former team principal Marco Mattiacci as well as Pat Fry - who showed Vettel around the Ferrari garage during the Abu Dhabi test - and Nikolas Tombazis.

With Arrivabene having taken over from Mattiacci at the end of the season, Ferrari said it was his decision to call Vettel down to the team's factory to get to know more members of the team ahead of the new season.
