Scuderia Toro Rosso has announced it will launch its new F1 2015 car the day before pre-season testing starts at Jerez.
The Renault-powered STR10 will break cover in Spain on Saturday January 31 at 17.00 hours local time. The launch will take place in the pit lane at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit with the team's new rookie driver line-up of Carlos Sainz Jr and Max Verstappen on hand, along with team boss Franz Tost, technical director James Key and chief designers Paolo Marabini and Matteo Piraccini.
Sainz Jr is then scheduled to drive the STR10 first the following day, before handing over to Verstappen on day two. Sainz Jr then returns to the wheel on day three, with Verstappen concluding the test.
Toro Rosso is the fifth outfit to announce its launch plans following on from Mercedes on Monday. Mercedes is also planning to unveil its new car at Jerez, although it will do so on the morning of the first day of pre-season testing (February 1).
