The Haas Formula 1 team have announced they will be moving into the former Marussia headquarters in Banbury and use it as its European base, as the team continues to build towards joining the grid next season.

The American outfit have said they still plan to work primarily from the technology facilities in Charlotte and will use Banbury to prepare cars during the season, focusing mainly on the European races.

Haas have agreed a deal with former owner Andrei Cheglakov to purchase the Oxfordshire facility.
