McLaren-Honda has brought its third day of F1 testing in Jerez to an early end after hitting more technical issues, though Fernando Alonso did complete more than 30 laps before doing so.

With all eyes on the team after completing just six slow laps on each of the opening two days, Alonso was out early this morning and proceeded to notch up decent running throughout the morning, topping out at 32 laps before lunchtime.

However, after a lengthy spell in the garage, McLaren has confirmed the MP4-30 has developed a loss of cooling pressure and the time needed to repair it means it won't get out on track for the remainder of the day.

McLaren isn't the only team to hit problems today as Red Bull has been working on problems with the RB11 just five laps into its day. As it stands, the team has notched up just 58 laps over the three days so far - just 15 more than McLaren.

Nico Rosberg also stopped on track in the Mercedes after an engine shutdown, but lost only an hour and has already completed more than 100 laps. Similarly, Felipe Nasr brought out a red flag with a spin into the gravel, but is lapping again now.
