Daniil Kvyat says he is feeling increasingly settled in the Red Bull team and the RB11 after a productive two days in the car during the second pre-season test at the Circuit de Catalunya.

The Russian driver, who joins Red Bull from Toro Rosso, suffered an inauspicious debut with the team in Jerez after breaking its only front wing on his first day in the car and losing a significant number of miles.

Nonetheless, he fared considerably better in Barcelona, completing 214 laps over two days in the car and ending it with the 10th fastest time overall.

With only two more days in the car before heading to Australia for the opening round of the season at Albert Park, Kvyat feels he is beginning to get comfortable in the RB11, stating it has 'big, big potential'.

"It was a positive day for us," he said. "We achieved the desired amount of laps and we learned different things for us which will be a benefit for the future and that is what testing is about.

"I think I am learning a few things myself and getting used to the team and the car. The steps we are making are encouraging and there is big, big potential, but how big only time will show.

"I think regardless of the lap times of other teams, we always have to aim for an improvement. We are always aiming like that and improving our lap times."
