Felipe Nasr topped the timesheets on the second morning of the final F1 pre-season test at the Circuit de Catalunya, as Jenson Button got some mileage in the McLaren and Force India revealed its VJM08 challenger.

Brazilian rookie Nasr took his soft-shod Sauber to the head of the order ahead of the lunchtime break, placing him just over a second quicker than the opposition with one of the fastest times of the test so far.

Behind him, Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel were closely matched, the German pair spending their mornings racking up the miles in their respective Mercedes and Ferrari machines en route to second and third on the timesheets

A productive morning for most teams, Valtteri Bottas was fourth fastest in the Williams, while Max Verstappen managed an impressive 78 laps in the Toro Rosso as he got acquainted with the revised STR10, which debuted in the hands of Carlos Sainz yesterday.

Pastor Maldonado retuned to the Lotus to set the sixth fastest time, ahead of Button, who finally got some solid mileage under his belt in the MP4-30, notching up 44 laps before lunchtime. Prior to today, Button's best lap total over an entire day was just 35 laps.

By contrast, Red Bull had a quiet morning, with Daniil Kvyat managing just 34 laps so far in what is his final day in the RB11 before the Australian opener.

Meanwhile, Force India's new VJM08 finally broke cover before lunchtime, the much delayed machine getting five laps before the chequered flag ahead of a more intense programme this afternoon.
