GP2 contender Pierre Gasly says he is thrilled to be getting an outing with the Toro Rosso team during F1 testing in Spain next month.

The Frenchman, who will this year compete in the GP2 Series with DAMS as part of Red Bull's junior development programme, has been called up to get miles at the wheel of the STR10 during the post Spanish Grand Prix test on May 12-13.

A runner-up to current Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz Jr in Formula Renault 3.5 Series last year, Gasly is looking forward to getting his F1 shot.
